Tetris Furniture, ZOMG!

Tetris furniture: it just makes sense. Furniture is blocky, tetrads are blocky, BOOM-SHACKA-SHAKE'N'BAKE -- Tetris furniture.
It's tetradical! Except -- why does that long block have five squares?

Artists Diego Silvério and Helder Filipov have created a beautiful furniture design that uses the Tetris bricks we have all known to both love and hate. The different bricks combined show many different options and ways for gamers to also have a great looking room and profess their utmost love for the original Tetris game.

ZOMG, I want all long pieces! No, wait, squares! And go ahead and throw in some of those L's. Fine, I'll take them all. But for free. Seriously, this is a gun. *PEW PEW* Haha, did I say gun? I meant laser blaster.

Supernova Bathroom Hardware by Dornbracht

The "Supernova" bathroom hardware line from Dornbracht has a fitting name. This contemporary bathroom concept combines futurism with architectural design. The first thing that catches my eye is the stone shape that rises from the ground. This structure harbors the shower though you can see no enclosure in the picture. It was the intent of Sieger Design and architectect Mike Meiré to create an architectural backdrop in the bathroom. Acting as a center piece to the design, the shower rises like a monument from the bathroom floor creating wonderful architectural element. Other inspiration was to create an island effect and place all the water sources in various areas. You can see the sink on the opposite side of the natural rain shower. To the right of the shower seating is the faucet that feeds the tub. Supernova is a unique concept that is really different than most other bathroom hardware lines that are designed to fit flush up against a wall.

EOS phone adapts to personal lifestyle

Envisaging humanistic relationships with mobile phones in the days to come, the Japanese manufacturer Kyocera has come up with a futuristic phone that alters its shape from a clamshell to a wallet or clutch-purse. Dubbed the “EOS,” the folding phone integrates a flexible OLED display surrounded by a soft and semi-rigid polymer casing, healing your haptic senses with the reinforced user experience. Presenting a clean and compact design, the concept phone offers a greater adaptability, of not just form but interaction as well, thanks to the flexible screen that unfolds to divulge the widescreen display. Moreover, the EOS doesn’t require any battery, for the phone breeds energy by translating kinetic energy into an electric charge via an array of nano-scale piezoelectric generators when it comes in physical interaction with the user. The EOS, apart from its refined and sustainable technology, also brags of a clean and sleek design by hiding the keys when not in use.

CRAZYYYY!!! Magnetically levitating sofa

Very much like the Magnetic Floating Bed, the Cloud Sofa is nothing less than a design masterpiece. Designed for ultra comfort and relaxation, the Cloud magnetically levitating sofa is the most amazing sofa concept I’ve ever come across. The magnetic force generated by the base offers support for the verrry soft upper part of the sofa. It would be a great thing to work, relax or powernap on. Unlike the magnetic floating bed, it’s not tethered with any steel cables. The soft cloud-like chaise lounge received an honorable mention at the RELAX furniture design contest.
