With the economic climate having a strong effect on the outlook of fashion design, Japanese brand Merci Beaucoup seems to have either completely missed out on the memo or chosen to continue on a very much one-of-a-kind aesthetic with their 2009-2010 fall/winter collection. Featuring both male and female outfits, the brand’s use of a butterfly theme is quite literal as we see some wild looks and outfits. However to the brand’s credit, there are some more subtle pieces in the collection as well as some interesting fur-based footwear offerings.
