dopest house ive seen in a long time

Two light grey parallelepiped blocks sit quietly one on top of the other on the mountainside of Izu-san, as if they are clock hands and the time reads ten to two exactly as they are set in the plot. These two parallelepiped boxes stand out for the simplicity of their form which is so pure creating a luxurious residence. This weekend house is located on the Japanese mountainside of Izu-san, where the Pacific Ocean can be looked down at from the southern part of the residence, making the living within a magnificent experience.

La MaƮtresse de la Tour Eiffel

“La MaĆ®tresse de la Tour Eiffel” is the title of an installation by Michel de Broin. The largest mirror ball ever made was suspended from a construction crane 50 meters above the ground to render the starry sky to the citizens of Paris for one night in the Jardin du Luxembourg during the Nuit Blanche event.

Clubhouse made of crates

How does one look at a shipping container and see a public space? Just ask German artists Wolfgang Winter and Berthold Hƶrbelt who took hundreds of bottle crates and perched them on a shipping container, creating a cool clubhouse.

But this type of creative work isn't new to them. The artists create art landmarks for public spaces all over the world. They work to reclaim lost public spaces and open people's eyes to the fact that art is an important vehicle to increase the quality of life, not only to make the city more beautiful. Winter/Hƶrbelt's beautiful, light filled crate-houses use recycled, everyday objects to build functional spaces for shelter, meeting and entertainment.

wow this is dope

The refillable Color Dial Spray is a novel design for a spray can that contains four colour cartridges (CMYK) in the one can. Two dials (for hue and brightness) help the painter achieve the exact colour required.

Plant Based Air-Purifier

Easy to see why it won the Popular Science, Best Invention Award. It does not collect pollutants rather actually eliminates pollution through the plant’s natural metabolic activity which performs a biochemical transformation of waste. Any house plant may be used in conjunction with the ANDREA Air Filter to absorb and metabolize noxious chemicals, but the best performing varieties include: Spath or peace lily, Red-edged dragon tree, Spider plant and Aloe Vera. Gotta love the power of nature.
